Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) Communication Technology Group (CTG) develops and delivers infrastructure and software solutions on Cloud infrastructures for the Communication Industry. Our clients are worldwide Telecom customers.

We are looking for a Backend Senior Software Engineer with a proven knowledge and experience in heavy backend parallel processing and Artificial Intelligence to join our development team in charge of the Unified Correlation & Automation. It is a set of engines that provide Correlation, Service Impact analysis and Automation capabilities for our Telco customers.

We are looking for:

  • Responsible for developing reliable, cost effective and high quality backend processing software in an agile team.
  • Good knowledge of modern backend development based on Kafka and Drools Framework and standard (java, scala, python, etc)
  • Excellent complex processing, parallel processing analysis and troubleshooting capabilities.
  • Owns design, coding, unit / functional testing, integration and documentation activities (JUnit, Sphynx, etc.)
  • Integrate into the solution with a hybrid cloud environment (Kubernetes, AWS, Redhat Openshift) and deploy applications using Helm.
  • Software applications testing methodology, including writing and execution of test plans, debugging, and testing scripts and tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to communicate product architectures and design proposals.
  • Ability to work with local and remote teams with agile methodologies (SCRUM, SAFe). Certification is a plus.
  • Hands-on on Kubernetes environment is a plus.
  • Hands-on on GraphDB (Neo4J) environment is a plus.

Education and Experience Required:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.
  • Typically 5 – 8 years’ experience in Java applications and team lead in agile methodology.
